Last week, our lab lead Roos Gerritsma was interviewed by journalist Merijn van Nuland for the daily newspaper Trouw about her promotion trajectory. During the conversation, Roos said that previously a PhD trajectory was only available to the university. The ‘professional doctorate’ (PD), the higher education of applied research version of doctoral research, gives her the opportunity to still obtain a doctorate at Inholland by combining theory and practice.
