New students, new challenge

New students, new challenge

In September we started with more than 30 (international) students from the Tourism Management, Leisure & Events Management, Communication, Creative Business and Facility Management programmes at Inholland University of Applied Sciences on a new challenge in the field of tourism and art & culture. Together with many partners, our students set to work with the help of our learning coaches Mireille Middelhof, Babet de Hoon, Jeroen de Jager, Cécile Brand and Tom Parry to come up with new creative, innovative and sustainable concepts. Conducting research is an integral part of lab education. In addition to New Urban Tourism and Regenerative Tourism, the research areas of Design Thinking, Societal Impact Design and Authentic Leadership are also closely intertwined in our programme.

Jam sessions

During jam sessions, our students pitch their concepts to our partners. Based on their feedback, the students set to work to improve their concepts. We do this in four steps: discover, define, develop and deliver.
