Transform Buikslotermeerplein into a lively, attractive and safe place!

On Monday February 6th 2023 we started with 20 (international) students from the Tourism Management, Leisure & Events Management, Communication, Creative Business and Facility Management programmes at Inholland University of Applied Sciences on a new challenge in the field of tourism and art & culture.

Together with many partners of our learning community, our students set to work with the help of our learning coaches Mireille Middelhof, Babet de Hoon, Jeroen de Jager, Cécile Brand and Tom Parry to come up with new creative, innovative and sustainable concepts to transform the Buikslotermeerplein in Amsterdam North into a lively, attractive and safe place for residents and users of this square.

Applied research is an integral part of lab education. In addition to New Urban Tourism and Regenerative Tourism, the research areas of Design Thinking, Societal Impact Design and Authentic Leadership are also closely intertwined in our programme.[/vc_column_text]
